Dio Construction LLC, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, is proud to announce their recent certification as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) by the North Carolina Office for Historically Underutilized Business, or HUB Office.
The HUB Office collaborates with local Minority/Women/Small Business Offices who help certified HUB firms with identifying contract opportunities with state and local government and encourages current HUB firms to reach out to their local PTAC for assistance.
Dio Construction is a client of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development’s American Indian Procurement Technical Assistance Center (AIPTAC). In September 2021, Owner Diosa Hall approached Procurement Specialist Crystal Pierce about assistance with the state’s HUB certification. Recently, the HUB Office announced that more than 5,000 firms are HUB certified in the state.
